HERITAGE Petroleum Company Ltd says it has recorded production test rates of more than 800 barrels of oil per day from a newly completed offshore well, exceeding its forecast initial production rate by more than 25%.
The S-946 well, located in the company’s TNA offshore acreage, targeted the Cruse A/B reservoir and was forecast to begin production at 635 barrels per day.
Heritage said drilling results exceeded expectations, with approximately 375 feet of net oil sand encountered after the well was spudded in April 2026.
The well was brought into production in August at an initial rate of approximately 330 barrels per day.
