“While progress is evident across the board, and… the engagement with the GBF over the last four years has been stronger than any previous CBD Strategic Plan, the pace and scale of implementation are insufficient for successfully achieving the GBF’s goals and targets.” This was a key takeaway from an informal dialogue among parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), Indigenous Peoples and local communities, women, youth, and other stakeholders who provided inputs to the global review of progress in implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF).
