Former Naps boy tops CAPE in St Vincent and the Grenadines

Jerrel Insanali, a former Naparima College student from Trinidad, has achieved the distinction of becoming the top scholar in St Vincent and the Grenadines for the 2025 Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE). Having migrated to St Vincent in 2023 with his family, Insanali’s academic excellence has garnered national recognition.

At the upcoming National Schools’ Independence Rally on October 23, 2025, at Victoria Park, Insanali will be honored with the Prime Minister’s Gold Medal, a $20,000 USD cash prize, and a five-year scholarship to the University of the West Indies (UWI).

This event, themed “Cheers to 46: Honouring Our Scholars, Celebrating Our Nation,” commemorates the 46th anniversary of St Vincent and the Grenadines’ independence and celebrates academic achievements across the nation.
