The Minister of Social Development, Labor and Welfare, Mrs. Charetti America-Francisca, arrived today in Bogotá, Colombia, for an official working visit taking place from October 19 to 30, 2025. The delegation, composed of representatives from the Ministry of SOAW and Fundashon Kas Popular (FKP), aims to strengthen cooperation with Colombian institutions and government agencies recognized for their expertise in social housing, vocational training, and poverty alleviation.
During the visit, meetings are scheduled with Luis Felipe Henao, former Minister of Housing and representative of Lambda; Roberto Angulo, economist and expert on the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI); and representatives of SENA, Colombia’s national training institute. Discussions will focus on the development of dual education programs for the construction sector to promote knowledge exchange and enhance professional skills within Curaçao’s housing initiatives.
