Historic $1.2bn Palace Resorts agreement to transform TCI tourism landscape

The Turks and Caicos Islands are poised for an unprecedented transformation in their tourism sector following the signing of a landmark development agreement between the Government of the Turks and Caicos Islands and The Palace Company, part of the world-renowned Palace Resorts family.

This historic deal, signed and sealed on 14 August 2025, represents the single largest private investment in the nation’s history, valued at an estimated $1.2bn, and will see the development of two world-class luxury resorts:
Moon Palace The Grand – Turks and Caicos and Le Blanc – Turks and Caicos.

The signing ceremony, held at the Office of the Premier & Public Policy in Grand Turk, brought together key figures including the Governor HE Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam, Premier Hon Charles Washington Misick, and CEO of The Palace Company, Gibrán Chapur, along with several Cabinet Ministers including the Minister of Tourism Hon Zhavargo Jolly.
