Minister of Foreign Affairs Lin Chia-lung received copies of the credentials of new ambassadors from Haiti, Paraguay and Belize Aug. 22 in Taipei City and pledged to continue deepening ties with the three allies.
Lin welcomed Roudy Stanley Penn from Haiti for returning to Taiwan for a second term. He said that as the two allies will celebrate 70 years of official ties next year, Taiwan looks forward to expanding cooperation with the Caribbean state in agriculture, education, medical care, security, talent cultivation and technology.
