Caribbean Airlines advises that its Boeing 737 jet services are currently experiencing delays due to a regional outage of the SITA satellite communication system, which supports critical aircraft operational messaging. This issue is not unique to Caribbean Airlines but is affecting all airlines that rely on the SITA network, a global air transport communications and information technology platform used by more than 400 airlines and airports worldwide.
