Strong earthquake felt in three Caribbean countries

A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 was felt in three Caribbean countries on Monday night, the Trinidad-based Seismic Research Centre (SRC) of the University of the West Indies (UWI) has reported. It said that the quake, which occurred at 9.45 p.m. (local time) was felt 81 kilometres (km) south east of Kingstown, the capital of St Vincent and the Grenadines, 100 km north east of St George's in Grenada and 146 km north of Scarborough in Tobago.
