New FAO, Eclac and ALADI report warns: Threat to region’s food security

04 Aug 16 - The impact of climate change in Latin America and the Caribbean will be considerable because of its economic dependence on agriculture, the low adaptive capacity of its population and the geographical location of some of its countries, notes a new study by the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (Eclac) and Latin American Integration Association (ALADI).
