20 Jun 16 - United Nations, Jun 20 (Prensa Latina) The Governor of Puerto Rico, Alejandro Garcia Padilla, has asked for the UN''s support so that the Puerto Rican people can exercise their right to self-determination. García Padilla said at the hearing, chaired by Cuban Deputy Ambassador, Ana Silvia Rodriguez that he came to the meeting to demand respect for the rights and dignity of the people who elected him.
