8 July 15 - Aiming to strengthen the regional response system through clear coordination of roles and responsibilities during a hurricane or other emergencies, the Pan-American Disaster Response Unit (PADRU) of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the English speaking Caribbean National Societies, along with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management (CDEMA) and the Red Cross Caribbean Disaster Risk Management Reference Centre (CADRIM), gathered from 24 to 25 of June in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad to discuss preparations for the 2015 hurricane season.
